True North Map Co operates a small internal text-message program for the people who work for the business. This page is the terms and conditions for that program.

1. How to sign up

Staff opt in through our sign-up form at truenorthmapco.com/pages/sms-signup. The form asks for a name and mobile number and includes a consent checkbox that is unchecked by default and clearly marked optional. The form can be submitted without ticking it. No text messages are sent to any number unless that box has been ticked.

2. Consent is voluntary

Participation in this program is entirely optional. Agreeing to receive these text messages is not a condition of employment, and it is not a condition of any purchase, service, account creation, or transaction with True North Map Co. Anyone may decline to participate, or withdraw their consent at any time, with no effect on their employment, pay, duties, or access to anything we offer. Consent to messaging is never bundled with any other agreement.

3. Who receives messages

Staff and the owner of True North Map Co who have opted in as described above. We do not send text messages to customers.

4. Types of messages you will receive

Operational notifications only. When a customer order is received through our online store, our order system sends a short text to the staff member responsible for packing and shipping it, naming the order numbers. The same program is used for internal system alerts, such as a label printer going offline or a nightly backup failing.

We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages on this program.

5. Message frequency

Message frequency varies with order volume. Messages are sent only when an order arrives, and never more than one message per 10 minutes — multiple orders are combined into a single message. No messages are sent between 8:00 PM and 7:00 AM Central time.

6. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. True North Map Co does not charge anything for this program; any charges come from your own mobile carrier.

7. How to stop receiving messages

Reply STOP to any message at any time to be unsubscribed. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages. You may also withdraw consent by contacting us at contact@truenorthmapco.com.

Reply HELP to any message, or contact us at contact@truenorthmapco.com.

9. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.

10. Privacy

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Mobile numbers collected for this program are used only to send the operational notifications described above, and are never sold, rented, or shared with lead generators or advertisers.
