The Snowbank and Basswood Lake area — a mix of heavily-used entry lakes and surprisingly remote interior water. Fall Lake and the Lake One–Two–Three–Four chain are classic routes with good campsite access. Snowbank's wilderness character and the quiet lakes around Pagami Creek give more experienced paddlers room to get away from the crowds.
